  7. SM+POS is a complete Retail Point-of-Sale and Store Management package.  It
  8. supports a full range of equipment including cash drawer, receipt printer,
  9. invoice printer, bar code scanners, and customer display devices.  All cash
  10. register functions are supported including multiple cash drawers, split tender
  11. payments, end of day totals, and seamless integration with other elements of
  12. the system.  Extra features not found elsewhere include fast customer check
  13. out, merchandise layaways, fractional inventory quantities, serialized and lot
  14. controlled items, apparel sizing, and inventory at multiple store locations
  15. available to sell at every register.  The SM+POS Store Management module
  16. includes purchasing, inventory control, cash management and accounts payable.
  17. All back office functions are automated:  the purchase order function allows
  18. the user to choose from four different reordering schemes to generate PO's,
  19. and keeps histories by item and vendor; inventory reports stock levels,
  20. profitability, and sell through; Cash Management keeps up-to-the-minute
  21. checkbook balances and automates bank statement reconciliation.  Optional
  22. modules include accounts receivable, G/L and financial statement, and payroll.
